EdTech Product Innovator
Hi! I’m Laura Bloch. I am a Senior Product Manager focused on creating technical innovations for education. My work centers around bringing together instructional design, user experience design, and creative technologies.
As a Senior PM at HOMER by BEGiN, I led a cross-functional squad to identify problems and implement solutions for kids and families using the educational apps Learn & Grow and Learn With Sesame Street. These apps teach Reading, Math, Social-Emotional Skills, and more.
With a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, I began my career as a computer engineer and technical consultant in various industries, from home security and automation to insurance and data governance. A strong interest in technology’s role in education led me to Teachers College, Columbia University, where I completed my Master’s in Instructional Technology and Media in May 2020. I am passionate about the integration of technology and education and am especially motivated to increase minority representation in STEM fields.
